Includes a stress workshop and some physical activity, hosted at Molineux stadium.

Black Country Healthcare have linked up with the Wolves Foundation to offer a Head 4 Health taster workshop to all staff working in health and social care across the Black Country area. The Wolves Foundation is the official charity of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and delivers a number of initiatives within the community across 3 pillars of healthier and more active people, safer and stronger communities and lifelong learning and skills. The Health & Wellbeing team deliver a number of initiatives in the city aimed at improving mental and physical wellbeing. One of these projects is Head 4 Health, an adult mental wellbeing programme.

The Head 4 Health taster workshop will include a small group face to face workshop which will include time to talk in a safe space and cover stress awareness including causes of stress and potential useful coping strategies that can help. There will also be time to engage in some light physical activity for those that wish. The session will last for 2 hours with around 30 minutes included for the physical activity element which will focus on chair based exercise or boxercise. The session will be held at Molineux Stadium and aims to offer an introduction to the Head 4 Health programme in addition to sharing useful coping strategies that individuals can take away with them. There is a choice of 2 dates that staff can choose from.

This is open to all health & social care staff. For more information and to book a space, please email Megan at meganwalters@wolves.co.uk
