Do you know which service you should use to get the right support at the right time?
As temperatures drop and nights draw in, it’s important to remember that winter conditions can seriously affect your health. The NHS is here for you, and our local health and care professionals are ready and available to help you this winter.
Think which service is right for you:
- Your local pharmacist can give expert advice on a wide range of common conditions and provide medicines to help you feel better. As part of Pharmacy First, pharmacies can also support treatment for a number of conditions without the need to see a GP
- For less urgent health needs, contact your GP or visit the NHS website for advice
- If you need urgent medical help but it’s not an emergency, contact NHS 111 online or by dialing 111 for clinical advice, assessment, and signposting to the right service. If you are advised to go to an Urgent Treatment Centre, we can help you find your nearest one below
- Call 999 for life-threatening emergencies.
