Local people are being invited to attend a meeting of the Board of the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The ICB Board meets bi-monthly to discuss key issues and set the direction for local health and care.

The next meeting is being held on Thursday 25 May from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and will be hosted at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre in St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton.

People can attend the meeting in person or observe online and are invited to submit their questions in advance.

Jonathan Fellows, Chair of NHS Black Country ICB, said: “Our Board meeting is a great opportunity for local people to find out more about the work of the ICB, as well as the wider health and care system.

“It’s important that our residents are able to see how decisions are made and understand the reasons behind them, so I would encourage anyone who is interested in local health issues to attend the meeting or observe the live stream next week.

“Public questions are also a really important part of our meetings so if you have a question, please do submit it in advance and we can respond.”

Members of the public who would like to attend online, or send in a question in advance, should email bcicb.gb@nhs.net by 5pm on Monday 22 May.

For those attending in person, please report to the business reception on the ground floor at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre.
