Local people are being invited to attend a meeting of the Board of the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The ICB Board meets bi-monthly to discuss key issues and set the direction for local health and care.

The first meeting of 2024 is being held on Thursday 25 January from 1.00pm to 3.00pm and will be hosted at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre in St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton.

People can attend the meeting in person or observe online and are invited to submit their questions in advance.

Jonathan Fellows, Chair of NHS Black Country ICB, said: “As an ICB, our Board meet regularly in public to make decisions about local health services and ensure that arrangements are in place to improve local people’s health.

“The meeting this week, which is the first one of 2024, provides a great opportunity for local people to find out more about the work that is underway to help serve local communities in the Black Country, as well as our future plans.

“I would encourage anyone who is interested in local health issues to attend the meeting or observe the live stream this week."

Members of the public who would like to attend online, or send in a question in advance, should email bcicb.gb@nhs.net.

For those attending in person, please report to the business reception on the ground floor at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre.
