An NHS double-decker bus will be touring the Black Country from Tuesday 5 May to Saturday 9 May to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, and the importance of early detection.

Organised by the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board and NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board, in partnership with local NHS organisations and councils across Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull, the cancer bus tour offers local people the opportunity to speak directly with healthcare professionals.

Visitors can:

  • Find out about local support services.

Information will also be available on the three main NHS cancer screening programmes breast, bowel and cervical screening including:

  • What results mean.

Free health checks will also be available, including blood pressure and blood sugar testing.
