The NOWT (Navigating Our Womanhood Together) Women’s Health Bus Tour invites residents to come along and learn more about menstrual and reproductive health, breast and ovarian cancer, menopause, and more when the bus visits Sandwell and Wolverhampton this October.

Staffed by experts from The Menopause School and MSI Reproductive Choices, visitors will have the chance to ask questions, discuss concerns, and take part in free mini health checks. Attendees can also meet the NOWT Collective, a group of 12 local organisations working together to support women across the region.

The bus will be at the following locations:

  • Friday 17 October, 10am–4pm New Square Shopping Centre, West Bromwich
  • Saturday 18 October, 10am–4pm Queen Square, Wolverhampton

Dr Ananta Dave, Chief Medical Officer, NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board, said: “This is a great opportunity for women to learn more about menopause and understand the support that is available for women’s health across the Black Country.”

Jessie Allen, Managing Director, JAC Healthcare Ltd and founding member of NOWT said “I believe a lot of women are on the brink and often suffer in silence especially when it comes to menopause and reproductive health. This tour is about breaking the stigma, starting conversations, and making expert help truly accessible.”

Research shows:

  • 1 in 10 women leave jobs due to menopause symptoms
  • 77% say menopause symptoms can severely impact their lives
  • Nearly 50% don’t feel comfortable discussing symptoms with healthcare professionals.

The NOWT bus aims to bridge that gap by bringing inclusive, judgment-free information and support to women where they live, work, and shop.

NOWT (Navigating Our Womanhood Together) is a coproduction group and online community supporting all things menstrual, menopausal, and women's health. Whether you menstruate, are navigating menopause, or support someone who does, NOWT is here to bring people together, share knowledge, and build community.
